Student Life

Our students continuously inspire us with their original ideas, and it is one of our greatest privileges to watch them discover their own unique talents and interests. We encourage our children to pursue their passions in and out of the classroom by offering a variety of extra-curricular activities ranging from cross-country running, to debate team, to musical theater, to yearbook committee. Our children have immense energy and potential; we’re here to help them channel it in ways that make them feel good about themselves, show their unique God-given talents, and be proud of their community.

    Our cheer program brings together students of all skill levels from Kindergarten through eighth grade in the name of team spirit to perform at select Wolverine basketball games.

    With choreographed dancing and flag twirling, Color Guard is one of the most fun ways to support your fellow student-athletes! Open to 5th–8th graders.

Student Activities

  • Fine Arts

    From performance theater, to visual arts, to virtual talent shows, our fine arts program gives students the opportunity to explore their creative interests and enrich our school cultural.

  • Music

    Our robust music program includes pop group, the “Anchords,” musical theatre group, the “Clementines,” and an annual school musical, i.e., Aladdin Jr.

  • Anchor Buddies

    One of our school’s most beloved and enduring traditions pairs our younger and older students together to bond over books and at times sit next to each other during Mass.

  • Enrichment

    Some highlights from our after-school enrichment curriculum: Tumbling, Hoops, Edible Arts, American Girl, All About Spots, Musical Instruments, and more.

  • Extended Care Program

    Before and After Care intended to provide a variety of activities essential for the healthy social and emotional development of our students.

    These are open to students of varying grade levels and include student council, yearbook committee, talent shows, school socials, and field trips.

  • Wee Wolverines

    Wee Wolverines gives your child the opportunity to open play, do crafts, listen to stories, sing songs and socialize! Wee Wolverines is open to infants and toddlers with a parent and/or caregiver. If you would like to register or receive more information please contact Lydia Arnold.

Faith & Service

 

Weekly Masses

Kindergarten through 8th grade students attend a weekly Mass where we celebrate our faith, engage spiritually, and deepen our connections to one another. Each grade has the opportunity to host Mass during which students serve as lectors, altar servers and other liturgical roles.

Service

Students participate in Christian service and learn about caring for our neighbors through a variety of school wide service projects. Opportunities include middle schoolers serving at our parish Friday Hospitality Program, participating in the annual Saint Clement Service Week and age appropriate class projects throughout the year.

Sacraments

Sacramental preparation for First Communion, First Reconciliation and Confirmation is part of the school’s religion curriculum. Throughout the school year, students in grade 3-8 of all faiths attend Reconciliation services and discuss the concept of forgiveness; Catholic students are given to opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
