Leading through Faith & Service
At Saint Clement School, leadership and service go hand in hand. Rooted in our Catholic faith and our parish spirituality of Pray – Serve – Share, students are encouraged to recognize their gifts, use them with purpose, and make a positive difference in the lives of others.
Leadership
Students develop leadership skills throughout their Saint Clement experience—in the classroom, through faith, on athletic teams, in clubs, and through service to the school and parish community. They learn to communicate effectively, work collaboratively, make thoughtful decisions, persevere through challenges, and lead with compassion and integrity.
Leadership opportunities include Student Council, Student Ambassadors, Anchor Buddies, Model United Nations, Future Business Leaders of America, athletics, classroom leadership roles, liturgical participation, and other extracurricular activities.
Service
Service is at the heart of the Saint Clement experience. Students are given meaningful opportunities to put their faith into action by sharing their time and talents with others.
Throughout the year, students participate in age-appropriate service projects within our school, parish, and greater Chicago community. They also serve the parish as Altar Servers, Lectors, Greeters, and, for our oldest students, Eucharistic Ministers.
Recent service opportunities have included preparing meals for those experiencing homelessness, assembling hygiene kits for vulnerable youth, organizing food and clothing drives, participating in Saint Clement Service Day, and providing Christmas gifts for students at a local Chicago public school.
