In the next few days please take a few moments to complete our STEM Parent Survey. Your feedback is so helpful to our STEM Initiatives. Thanks for taking the time to fill out our survey found here. This survey will be available until September 12th. Once you submit your responses you will receive an out-of-uniform pass email that can be printed and given to your child's homeroom teacher for our an out-of-uniform day on October 12, 2018.
*please note if there are any issues regarding the printing out the uniform pass, children's names missing, etc...We have a record of each submission and will remind parents and teachers prior to October 12th of children participating in Out-of-Uniform. Thank you!
This summer Saint Clement School was chosen to send 4 teachers, Emily Cummings, Alyssa Sturgeon, Krista Schrage, and Donna Terrasi, as Fellows in the 2018 cohort of the Trustey Family STEM Teaching Fellows. These teachers were selected as one of 10 schools in the program's fourth cohort and joined over 90 teachers from the program's first three cohorts.
The Trustey Family STEM Teaching Fellows is a competitive, three summer, two school year program that seeks to improve STEM teaching and learning for all students, especially underserved populations in STEM. Fellows will attend three Summer Institutes at the University of Notre Dame. Throughout the school year, they will receive content specific coaching for their instructional practice and targeted support as they expand access to and opportunities for STEM learning in their school.
The Trustey Family STEM Teaching Fellows is sponsored by the University of Notre Dame Center for STEM education, housed in the Institute for Educational Initiatives at the University of Notre Dame. The Center for STEM Education's mission seeks to help all students, especially those underserved and in Catholic schools, engage and excel in the STEM disciplines through research and the translation of research into practice.
