What are anti-inflammatory medicines?

while there are many diffrent types of anti-inflammatory medicines, the ones that are used most often in people with asthma are coricosteroids. Some common corticosteroids are:

• Azmacort
• betamethasone
• Beclovent
• prednisone
• Prelone
• methylprednisolone
• SuluMedrol

  There are three ways to take corticosteroid medications. They can be:

  • inhaled using a metered dose inhaler
  • swallowed as a liquid or a tablet
